The body of the Teapot is a real Sea Urchin Shell. Lid, Finial, Spout, Handle, and Base are turned and carved from African Blackwood.
A bit of sapwood remains on the
edge of the lid.

The inside is sealed and painted flat black.

Under the lid is a Garnet Gem
in a 14K Gold setting.
